URGENT SUMMER APPEAL
from the desk of Executive Director, Richard Hill
Dear friends and supporters of The Mission,
I wanted to share with you an obstacle that we are facing at The Mission of Yahweh. Historically, the upcoming summer months have produced financial deficits as our operating costs increase. Unfortunately, our cash reserves have been depleted, and we are projecting a shortfall in excess of $60,000.
Our expenses rise during the summer as additional staff is required to care for our school age children, and cooling costs, as well as the amount of food we must provide increases. Given that we’ve steadily grown in the number of women and children we serve, this has created a perfect storm. Without your immediate and generous support, we could run out of financial resources before we get to the more secure month of July.
With this in mind, we need your help in building a Bridge To July. I communicate this in the spirit of transparency, as I know your investment in The Mission of Yahweh is invaluable. Please prayerfully consider your best gift in response to this urgent need. We rely on and sincerely appreciate your financial support to continue God’s ministry to Houston’s homeless women and children.
In His Service,
Richard Hill, Jr.
