The Mission of Yahweh is dedicated to caring for its residents and our community. An important part of The Mission’s objective is providing outreach services to low-income families that live in our surrounding neighborhoods.
Christmas on a Mission focuses on our resident children and the children of low-income area families. Each year, The Mission’s volunteers collect and distribute age-appropriate gifts to help make the season better for our community’s boys and girls. On Christmas day, we celebrate with our resident women and children with breakfast, gifts and SNOW.
Mission Backpack Blessing was created to help neighborhood kids get needed school supplies. In 2015, we handed out over 700 backpacks to local children from preschool to college level.
Mission Thanks for GIVING distributes traditional Thanksgiving Dinner items for low-income area families to prepare and share in their homes with their loved ones.
The Mission of Yahweh is always in need for volunteers to assist in our Outreach Programs. For more information on how you can lend a helping hand, visit the Volunteering page.
